TOWIE star Chloe Sims has opened up about how her mum walked out and left when she was three years old.

"I don’t know my birth mum. I’ve no memory of her at all. I think it was because of her age- she was only 19 when she had me," she said.

Chloe claims her mum only tried to get in touch again when she found fame on the ITV show

"She emailed me about two years ago when I first started on TOWIE, but I didn’t reply.

"It was 27 years too late and I was a little bit over it by then. I’ve no desire to meet her or know her. I find it strange she’d wait that long to speak to her child."

Shut up - we did not see this TOWIE coupling coming

According to Chloe, another blow came when her mum didn’t seem interested in getting know her daughter Madison.

She revealed, "In the email she didn’t even mention Madison and she talked about herself more, so I don’t know what we’d have in common."

Mark and Sam's on/off relationship goes all the way back to when she was 16 and they met on MySpace (aw, those were the days). They briefly dated during their time on TOWIE but were never able to give things a proper go before he quit the show in 2011.

In a recent episode of TOWIE, Chloe opened up about her anxiety and a therapist claimed it was linked to her childhood.

"The main thing that happened as a child is that my mum left. I genuinely don't remember it I was three... This is a bit too sad to talk about," she told the therapist before breaking down in tears.

She then opened up about how anxiety is affecting her life with her daughter Madison.

"Now I'm like it with my daughter, I'm obsessed with what she's doing, I don't like her in cars. It's so stressful, it's a stressful life being worried all the time.

"It's not in a needy way. I'm not afraid of people leaving me. I'm scared of something happening. I'm living in fear all the time.

"I feel like if I die what's going to happen to Mady? She's going to be left like I was."

In March 2022, Chloe's half-sister Frankie Sims shared a rare picture of her mum, and Chloe's stepmum, saying "Who needs a Valentine?"
