See, this is why we threw a small after-hours party at Closer HQ when we first learned that TOWIE would be welcoming Sophie Kasaei into the cast after she shacked up with Jordan Brook.
Geordie Shore's Sophie, historically, knows how to spice things up and, after 31 series, even TOWIE needed an injection of fresh, unfiltered, no holds barred drama. Us TOWIE fans were yearning for that shock factor.
And lest we forget this is the iconic Geordie reality star who whispered "chlamydia" into Joel Corry's ear during an, erm, passionate encounter and showed off her anal bleaching on the telly. Icon behaviour.
Whichever TOWIE producer sealed the deal to get Sophie on the show, give them a bonus and pat them on the back for us, will you? Just in case ITV's reading.
Sophie has been introduced to the cast of series 31 as Jordan's new girlfriend (they've been dating since 2022 and now live together in Essex), but is already seemingly stirring the drama pot on and off screen. She's (inadvertently) caused a rift between Chloe Brockett and the 'girlband' (Amber Turner, Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green), after Chloe got the hump that Amber and the girls welcomed the new couple with open arms in light of her ongoing – and very public – feud with Jordan.
Did Jordan and Chloe sleep together? No. Did they kiss? Also, no. We think. This will become relevant later...
Off-screen, the #dramz is even spicier. Sophie and Jordan frequently document their new lives together on social media, so we're all now in that weird, deluded zone where we feel like we know them, but we absolutely don't. WE DON'T. Anyway, while joking about a recent drive from Newcastle to Essex, Jordan revealed that his new girlfriend jumped on a steak bake (not literally) as soon as she woke up from a car nap and it sounded sexy af.
Jokingly, Sophie said to Jordan, "You've got to kiss a few frogs to find your princess", and then winked at the camera.
Now, in theory Sophie's talking clearly talking about munching on a steak bake here, but this Insta Story was filmed the same day the most recent episode of TOWIE was aired; you know, the one where Jordan and Chloe Brockett were constantly at each others throats, not to mention that his previous dalliances with Ella Rae Wise were brought up. Hmm. Do we detect shade, Sophie?
Now, Jordan did not kiss Chloe that we know of (see above) although they did go on a couple of dates and had a "good time" together. He very definitely did kiss Ella after that, to be frank, awkward lap type dance at the talent show. Plus, a new TOWIE star, Lauren Bayford, is claiming that she dated Jordan while all this was going on.
Of course, we couldn't possibly know for sure who Sophie is talking about (if anyone), but we did manage to screenshot said wink, so make of it what you will...
Sophie has been loved up with her TOWIE boyfriend for over eight months, after years of being single and vowing to find Mr Right. Sophie, who rose to fame in Geordie Shore, believes she’s finally found the love of her life after confirming the pair are still enjoying their “honeymoon phase”.
