Fans of former TOWIE stars Demi Sims, Chloe Sims, Frankie Sims, Charlie Sims, and his girlfriend Georgia Shults won't need us to remind them that the famous fam's new reality series, House of Sims, debuted on OFTV last summer and now, a year later, it's not only streaming on Netflix, but series 2 is dropping jaws across the world as a fiery feud continues to rattle the famous family's close bond.
When did House of Sims season 2 start?
The family began shooting series 2 of House of Sims on 19 September 2023 and the series arrived on OFTV on 13 March 2024. The series follows the feud currently rocking the family; with Chloe, Charlie and Georgia on one side and Demi and Frankie on the other.
Did Frankie and Demi move back to the UK?
Yes. In an exclusive chat with Frankie and Demi last year, the sisters spilled the tea on House of Sims season two and their major life change over the last few months.
"We miss Essex, we miss our family, we miss London, we missed all our friends.
"So we've just come home, we've been home for four months now and we're going to settle back here in England now," Frankie told us.
But, Demi said, "We fly back to LA for filming next month for series two."
As it turns out, a huge feud was rocking the family at the time of that interview; a feud we're now watching play out in series 2.
As of April 2024, Demi and Frankie were back living in Essex, while Chloe, Charlie and Georgia were still living in LA. It is not yet know whether series 3 will go ahead.
What happened during series one of House of Sims?
OnlyFans' streaming platform originally released five episodes of the reality series (does anyone else remember when we used to get at least 22 episodes per series, at least?), documenting the Essex fam's permanent move to Los Angeles.
If we're being honest, the end product was more of a gratuitous, stylised series of home movies – like watching 40 minutes of boujie Instagram reels and TikToks all in a row – than the semi-produced dramatic reality we've come to expect from the Sims, but it was still cute to watch the gang adjust to stateside life and to have them all together on our screens.
Nevertheless, we wanted more (episodes and from the episodes) and it's safe to say series 2 has delivered.
Why was House of Sims series one filming halted?
A spanner was thrown into the works in the House of Sims in 2022 as just hours into filming initial scenes in Essex, it was reported that filming in the US had been cancelled before it had even begun. Not exactly ideal if the show is about a bunch of British reality stars trying to make a name for themselves Stateside.
And Chloe appeared to have slammed the rumours casting a shadow over her new show. In an Instagram Story, Chloe introduced her followers to the show's executive producer Adam Schor who hails from Los Angeles.
Chloe acquainted Adam with her millions of followers by saying (with a raised eyebrow and a tone that was clearly directed towards the recent bad press), "I have just filmed my first scene for House of Sims. Would you like to meet our executive producer Adam all the way from Los Angeles?"
Adam jumped in, saying, "All the way from LA, where we're shooting."
Chloe, smiling, added, "Yeah! Where we're shooting the whole show."
You really needed to watch this one to get a feel for the tone. The pair make it VERY clear that the team were shooting in LA for the majority of the season, despite recent reports.
A TV insider told The Sun, "Chloe and the family were due to fly to the US to shoot scenes for their new show but it’s not happening now.
"It doesn’t look good for them after the huge deal they made about quitting TOWIE and going it alone.
"It’s definitely a disappointing setback for Chloe but they’re hoping to get things back on track as soon as possible.”
Closer reached out to Charlie Sims for comment and the producer, reality star and manager responded by denying the reports.
"There has been no halt or delay in filming UK or in the US," Charlie reassured us at the time.
"We are currently underway in Essex as we speak and production is running smoothly."
Charlie spoke out about the series on Mark Whittle's Take FLIGHT podcast. He said, "We wanted our own show and we wanted it to be very Kardashian-esque.
"We negotiated an amazing deal with OF – they really backed us and believed in us. We loved them, too."
Speaking about producing and shooting the series, Charlie revealed, “We’re shooting our first series in LA. And although the Kardashians are an extreme example, there just aren’t any other families knocking around. I think the UK are just desperate to see a new family come in with a new set up and that’s what we’re going to offer them.
"It just all aligned at the right time and was an amazing deal to do. We start shooting in October [2022], so first series is coming up and it’s pretty real."
What is House of Sims about?
In summer of 2022, the Sims family announced that they had landed their own TV show on OnlyFans (OFTV). The siblings took to Instagram to share a promotional image for their new reality show, with the following caption, "ITS OFFICIAL 🖤.
"The Sims family finally have their own show and we are so excited to share the brand new concept exclusively on OFTV. Download the FREE streaming app via - IOS app store, android, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV and Roku. @watchoftv."
Speaking about her huge news, Chloe said, “OFTV have given us the opportunity to follow our dreams, we are all so excited and can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on, which is our brand new show. As a family we have so much more to offer our viewers, watch this space it’s going to HUGE!”
During a 2022 Instagram Q&A (before they flew out to LA), a fan asked Demi, "What's your favourite thing about filming the new show?"
Demi responded, "Let me tell youuuu... this is the REALEST show you're gonna ever see. There is nothing set up for your entertainment, NOTHING is scripted. Nothing is false or not part of our daily life. Every conversation, every emotion, every single thing we do on the show is real even if the cameras were not there we would be doing/saying it."
As opposed to which other reality show, Demi? One in which Denise van Outen reminds us at the start of every episode that "some scenes have been blinged up for your entertainment," maybe?
Who is on House of Sims?

How can I watch House of Sims?

How much do the Sims family get paid for House of Sims?
Speaking on Mark Whittle's Take FLIGHT podcast in 2022, Charlie revealed that the Sims sisters will all be earning "seven figures" for the first House of Sims series.
He revealed, “It took months to put the deal together. Not months actually, I’d had conversations with them, but the real negotiations we got done in a couple of weeks.
"This conversation had been coming around for a long time. It almost didn’t feel real. It was just so big; bigger than anything I’ve ever done before in my career."
He went on to say, "There was this amazing moment where the girls – Demi, Frankie and Chloe – came round my house and we’d signed the deal as a production company.
"And then I had to tell them what they were earning and I sat them down and I’ve got an office out the back with a big whiteboard and I was like, I’m going to have to write this out because I don’t think they’re going to understand or digest what I’m telling them.
"It was way bigger than anything they could’ve ever expected or dreamed of – we’re talking like seven-figure deals. I could see they were reading it and digesting it and were like, 'Are you joking?' It changed their life."
Why did Chloe Sims quit TOWIE?
In 2022, TOWIE confirmed that Chloe and her sisters had decided to leave the ITVBe show, with a spokesperson confirming the news to Closer Online. They said, “After dedicating over a decade to TOWIE, Chloe Sims has decided to depart the show.
"Chloe has been an iconic cast member and feels like it's the right time to leave the show, as she enters a new chapter in her life.”
Not only did icon Chloe leave the show but her younger sisters Frankie and Demi also chose to follow suit. The door is still open for the trio in the future but we're not sure that will be the case with all the bridge burning going on.
As well as rumours that the Sims sisters pulled out of last year's cast trip to the Dominican Republic just two days before they were due to fly out because of 'big disagreements' off camera.
