As Denise Van Outen shares pictures of herself looking healthy and happy, pals say she’s ready to find love again.

The Celebrity Gogglebox star confidently flaunted her incredible beach body during a mini break in Marbella last week, after revealing she’s open to a new relationship following her heartbreaking split from ex-fiancé, Eddie Boxshall, which left her “unable to breathe.”

And after reconnecting with an old friend, pals of Denise Van Outen say it could be sooner rather than later.

Showing off her famous curves in a blue bikini, Denise, 48, wished her 663k Instagram followers a “Happy joob weekend” in reference to the Queen’s Jubilee, as she promoted fashion icon Elizabeth Hurley’s luxury swimwear line.

In another snap of her impressive cleavage, the former Big Breakfast host playfully quipped, “plattyboobs” alongside sweet snaps of her 12-year-old daughter, Betsy, who she shares with her ex-husband, Lee Mead.

While the TOWIE narrator looked relaxed and happy on her Spanish getaway, she admitted how much she’d “struggled” after finding out her partner of seven years had been cheating on her. Eddie apologised following their split, admitting he was “embarrassed and ashamed.”

She said on Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast, before revealing she was opening herself up to a new romance.

“I’ve always gone into any relationship with a massively open heart because I just always think that people are going to be honest and loyal, because that’s how I approach everything, and you start to realise that we’re not all the same. I think it will be a little bit of an issue, but it’s something I’m just going to have to work through and just... at the time, when the time’s right. But I am open to it.”

And pals say her beaming smile on her recent getaway is thanks to an old friend.

A source says, “Denise has vowed not to let her heartache destroy her future happiness and while she’s admitted she’s not 100 per cent ready to jump into anything serious, she has started to feel ‘stomach flutters’ again after reconnecting with an old friend who reached out following her split.

“While it’s still very early days, he’s made her laugh and feel special, which is something in her darkest days, she wasn’t sure she’d feel ever feel again. Whether it progresses into anything or not, it’s helped put the smile back on her face and restore her confidence, as well as re-spark that hopeless romantic in her and give her a glimpse of a happy future again.”

During her chat with Fearne, the mum-of-one revealed how she’s in therapy to help emotionally prepare herself for her next relationship.

“I wouldn’t say I’m fully healed, but I’m getting there,” she said. “I think because everything that happened floored me, like literally floored me, I then wanted to sort of start to understand why there seems to be a pattern as well, not just on the other side of it but on my side.”

Insiders recently told Closer how the West End star was concerned about Eddie, 49, doing a “tell-all” on their relationship following her own revelations in her recent autobiography, which she revealed she had to re-write parts of for “obvious reasons.”

Denise asked Eddie to leave their North London home in December after he allegedly exchanged raunchy messages with women online and met up with another woman for secret dates.

Following their split, the commodities trader – who initially told his Instagram followers, “you don’t know the truth” – was reportedly pulling out all the stops to save their relationship, but Denise refused to take him back.

The couple – who were planning to wed next year – met in 2014 after being set-up on a blind date by presenter Zoe Hardman.

Their relationship came a year after Denise’s four-year marriage breakdown from West End star Lee, who she met while on the judging panel for BBC talent show, Any Dream Will Do, in 2007.

And after telling her pal Fearne that she was daunted by dating apps and would rather meet someone organically, insiders say the Gogglebox star has already been inundated with offers of set-ups.

The source adds, “Denise has had friends wanting to set her up on blind dates with eligible bachelors, which she’s been incredibly flattered by, and while she wasn’t ready before, she’s admitted she’s finally getting to a place where she is, and that’s an exciting prospect for her.

“While she’s keen to spend time with this blast from her past who’s come back into her life, she’s keeping her options open and, for now, she’s just enjoying spending quality time with Betsy and learning about herself and what she wants from her next relationship – which she hopes will be her last and finally give her the fairy- tale ending she deserves.”
