After receiving an unfair guilty verdict last week, Kelly Neelan faces her sentencing in court as Imran Habeeb makes a last ditch attempt to win over the judges.
But that's not the only thing on Imran's mind as his antics from the night of Kelly's trial threaten to be exposed and Toyah Battersby wants to know if he's been having an affair.
Meanwhile, murderer Corey Brent – who last week was delivered a not guilty verdict after Imran's ex Sabeen Habeeb got him off scott free – receives a promotion on the football team.

The week begins with Daniel being summoned to the headteacher's office at school after David reported him to the school for assaulting Max. Daniel admits he shouldn't have grabbed his jacket, but is sure that Max stole his wallet.

Later on, Dev pays a visit to Daniel to tell him about Max trying to use a card that got declined. David makes out it was his card that he loaned Max, but is soon feeling stupid for giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Audrey continues to feud with her family after finding out about Rita's hairy betrayal. In an attempt to make amends, Gail organises a surprise birthday dinner but Audrey is miffed when only Gail, Sarah and David are there and she's further disappointed with her old lady presents.

When Rita turns up, Gail loses her temper and storms out but after getting in her car, immediately backs into Rita's car. When Gail insists her mum get her eyes tested, Audrey accuses her of agism and is adamant there's nothing wrong with her eyes.

Sabeen backs Imran into a corner after asking for his help representing a client. When the client turns out to be Harvey Gaskell, Imran refuses, insisting Harvey belongs behind bars. But when Sabeen threatens to expose Imran's whereabouts from the night of Kelley's verdict, he's shaken.

The next day is Kelley's sentencing and as she waits nervously in the docks, Imran delivers an impassioned speech about her turbulent upbringing. Kevin can't believe it when he sees Sabeen in the courtroom after getting Corey off scot free.

Back at home, Jack breaks the news that Corey's been promoted and is set to appear on the bench next match. Frustrated at his anonymity, Kevin resolves to let the team and the coach know they're playing alongside a murderer.

Kevin's appeal lands on deaf ears though when the coach points out Corey was acquitted in a court of law and soon Stefan pays a visit to the garage to threaten Kevin. Tim watches on, concerned for his friend.
