An infamous Love Island icon has teased a possible connection to TOWIE, just as filming for series 31 (yes really) is set to begin. Coincidence? We don't believe in those here at Closer.
And to be fair, if said Islander is indeed joining the cast of the long-running Essex-based reality series, she wouldn't exactly be the first to do so.
Olivia Attwood, Cara Delahoyde-Massey, Nathan Massey, Kady McDermott, and of course TOWIE newbie Elma Pazar have all jumped ship to east of the M25 after finding fame in the Love Island villa.
So who is the elusive 'villain' in question? Well, we say 'villain'; that's what the darkest parts of the internet decided to call her – and her t*t – after she wedged herself in between Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page this summer. We call her 'icon', 'queen', 'legend'... Take your pick.
That's right, we've sniffed out a possible connection between TOWIE and Love Island 2022 babe of babes, Coco Lodge, and the timing is suspect.
Being Closer staff, we spend an awful lot of time failing to commit to dry January and unleashing our bloodhound noses on the Instagram comments of our fave celebs. During a morning peruse, we stumbled upon a conversation between Coco and TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou. Obsessed.
Naturally, we dove straight in and learned that not only are these two reality icons friends but they're planning to meet up soon, which in our minds means Coco could at least cameo in one or two scenes in series 31 (trust us, this is how it starts).
We realise this is some significant wishful thinking on our part, but we're feeling hopeful for Coco in 2023.
Earlier this week, Yazmin posted a predictability gorgeous video of herself looking downright perfect on her Instagram grid, to which Coco commented, "You are so perfect 😍." Yep.
Yazmin then replied saying, "@coco_lodge miss you ❤️."
To which Coco responded, "@yazminoukhellou hopefully see you when I’m back from Dubai ❤️."
Just in time to start filming TOWIE series 31, Coco?
Whether our frail theory is true or not, it's difficult to deny that Coco would be an ASSET to the reality series, given the #dramz stirring she was behind on Love Island last year (and she wasn't even trying then).
