We need something to fill the void now that Love Island is over for a summer, so thank goodness that Celebs Go Dating will be returning to our screens for its 13th series very shortly - and the cast is an absolute corker.
It was previously announced that the E4 show would be returning for a new series later this year and the start date (which is just days away) has now been confirmed after the line-up, which includes Love Island: All Stars OG Chris Taylor, Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan and Married At First Sight UK’s Ella Morgan Clark was revealed last month.
Here's everything you need to know about Celebs Go Dating 2024...
Who is taking part in Celebs Go Dating?
Lauryn Goodman
She hit the headlines when she welcomed two children with England footballer Kyle Walker while he was married to Annie Kilner and now Lauryn is set to look for love on Celebs Go Dating. She said, "I am ready to put my past behind me and move forward, so I am hoping the agents can find me someone I really vibe with and that could potentially blossom into something more!"
Chris Taylor
After failing to find love on Love Island: All Stars, Chris Taylor has followed in the footsteps of fellow Islanders like Jack Fincham, Megan Barton-Hanson and Eyal Booker by signing up to the Celebrity Dating Agency. He said, "I get mildly sweaty palms when I think about joining the agency, but I know I need all the help I can get in the dating department. This isn’t my first dating show, so hopefully, Celebs Go Dating will put me to the test and help me figure out where I’ve been going wrong!”
Ella Morgan Clark
After rising to fame on Married At First Sight UK, Ella Morgan Clark has signed up to be the first transgender celebrity on Celebs Go Dating. She had a rollercoaster ride during her time on MAFS, after struggling to hit it off with her groom Nathanial Valentino and going on to return to the experiment with another contestant, JJ Slater - who is now dating Katie Price.
Ella said, "I have learnt to love myself again so really feel like now is the time to put myself out there to start dating again. I’m hoping the agents can find me an organic relationship.”
Helen Flanagan
Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan was married to footballer Scott Sinclair and shared three children with him, but they split in 2022 after 13 years together. Now, after opening up about her dating life on social media, Helen has enlisted the help of the Celebrity Dating Agency on her quest to find love.
She said, "I am so ready and excited for this! I am really hoping to learn and grow from this experience and hoping the agency can find me a relationship that flourishes into something loving, trusting and secure.”
Stephen Webb
Gogglebox legend Stephen Webb has signed up to Celebs Go Dating after splitting from his husband earlier this year. Stephen and Daniel, who appeared on Gogglebox together were married for six years before filing for divorce after "growing apart".
"I am so clueless when it comes to dating having been out of the game for so long, so I am very excited to meet new people and see what the agency can do for me,” Stephen said after joining the show.
Jamelia
Noughties popstar turned soap actor Jamelia recently revealed she was forced to leave her role on Hollyoaks after struggling as a single mum-of-four after her husband "abandoned" her while she was four months pregnant in 2022. It looks like she's now ready to date again as she's signed up for the E4 show.
Jamelia said, "I am very nervous about putting my dating life out there but hoping the agents can help me find a man who won’t need fixing and who can take care of me.”
Tristan Phipps
No stranger to sharing his turbulent love life on Made in Chelsea, Tristan Phipps is another famous face who has signed up to Celebs Go Dating following the end of high-profile on/off relationship with co-star Olivia Bentley.
"I think this is going to be fun! I’m looking forward to dating outside my usual circles and I hope the agents can give me advice on how to navigate relationships and connections," Tristan said.
When does Celebs Go Dating start?
Celebs Go Dating 2024 premieres on Monday 19 August at 9pm.
What channel is Celebs Go Dating on?
That would be E4, the BEST channel. Don't tell ITVBe.
Who are the Celebs Go Dating experts?
Joining Paul Carrick Brunson, who made his CGD debut in season five, Anna Williamson took the reigns from Nadia Essex during season six. She began her presenting career on CBBC, and has experience as a journalist and life coach, too.
“When Paul delivers a stern word you still fall in love with him,” Anna previously told Closer.
“I come from a caring place as a life coach, but I’m not afraid to call someone out when I feel like their behaviour is not appropriate and they’re not being genuine. I’m not afraid of being the bad cop to Paul’s good cop, necessarily."
As well as Anna and Paul, Dr Tara, a sex & relationship coach, will be returning after joining the show last series.
Are Eden Blackman and Nadia Essex on Celebs Go Dating?
Both Nadia and Eden left the Celebs Go Dating ship in 2018.
Eden officially left after series four, claiming he wanted to focus on other business ventures, including a dating app called Would Like to Meet, but his departure was shrouded in controversy after a civilian dater claimed he had been having an affair with her.
The show's other OG dating expert Nadia Essex was later axed from the show.
Who narrates Celebs Go Dating?
That would be the HILARIOUS Rob Beckett, who we think gives Love Island voice over-er Iain Stirling a run for his money.
