Another day, another TOWIE star heading to the salon for fresh new hair ahead of the new season and this time it is OG cast member Amy Childs.
In classic influencer style, Amy took her 786,000 Instagram followers with her to the hairdressers and revealed the colour and extensions she was getting done.
Sharing a picture of the ash blonde hair extensions which had a slight ombré look about them, Amy tagged her hairdresser and the extensions company and added the caption, "New hair day. So excited.
"Can't wait to show you all 🥰."
From looking at the extensions we thought Amy was heading back to her blonde era but turns out, her new hair is more of a cool brown with ash highlights.
And we didn't have to wait long to see the results because soon after Amy posted a stunning selfie of her new hair with the caption, "@towie we are so excited to be filming with the bumps ❤️".
During the break from TOWIE, Amy announced she's pregnant with twin and she's due to meet her little girl and boy in spring.

The Essex OG was once known for her sizzling red locks, who could forget those scarlet hues popping out of our screens, contrasting against the backdrop of a murky zoo (Kirk Norcross took her on a zoo date in one of the very first episodes, remember?) all those years ago.

This isn't the first time Amy has gagged us with an epic hair transformation, the TOWIE star has also gone for the chop. After cutting her long hair into a stylish new bob, she said on Instagram, "You don't understand how long I have waited to do this for...".

Amy, who is also mum to son Ritchie, posted a poll to ask for her fans' opinions on her new look.
Tagging her hair stylist, Amy wrote “I’ve gone and done it 😍 thank you @joel_maghair21 ❤️I bloody love it...”

After showing off her new hair, Amy did warn fans how tricky red hair can be, "If you are thinking about going red, it's the hardest colour to get out! I absolutely love being red! But so hard to maintain."
We might've lost her iconic red locks, but viewers were over the moon when the iconic star returned to TOWIE after almost a decade away.

Her PA sent her a throwback photo of Amy looking a little gothic with black straight hair and dark eye make-up.

One of the biggest storylines of the first season of TOWIE was Kirk and Amy's flirtationship. The pair briefly dated but split in 2011. In 2013, Kirk admitted he will "love Amy until the day I die". He added, "She is literally like the girl version of me. When it didn't work out, it broke my heart really... and it wasn't her fault, it was both of our fault."

Amy dated builder Bradley from 2013 until 2015 but split when he was sent to prison for handling stolen goods. At the time, Amy said, "I have been let down again. I am so upset and angry. We love each other but I can't have him around right now. I feel stressed and he has made me feel bad about myself. I've moved him out the house and chucked all his stuff out."The couple reunited in 2016 and welcomed their daughter Polly into the world the following year but split just six weeks after she was born. Bradley found himself jailed once again in 2019 after being charged with arson and Amy revealed that he's no longer in contact with their daughter as she refuses to take her to see him in prison.

They were snogging passionately in the bar. Amy's a single girl and Sam's a single boy, and they have new mutual friends in their management company. It's no wonder they've hit it off."

Amy was spotted on holiday with Essex businessman Ritchie in February 2018 and they welcomed a son together in September that year. Sadly, the couple split 11 months after their son was born.It's believed they dated for two years, but they kept their relationship mostly out of the public eye due to Ritchie's work. Amy has since revealed that they have an agreement to keep their son out of the spotlight, which is why he doesn't appear on TOWIE like her daughter Polly. However, Amy did let slip that her son was named after his father.

I love you."They dated for 14 months, with Tim even moving into Amy's home during lockdown, but split in July 2021 after Amy realised things had "fizzled out" between them.

Amy is currently dating Billy Delbosq, a business owner from Essex who has previously appeared on Channel 4's First Dates. They were first linked following her split from Tim and made things Instagram official in October 2021. They're expecting twins in spring 2023.
