We've always admired our reality star friends for their uncanny ability to film disastrous, cringe-worthy scenes and then patiently await their dreaded release (sometimes sitting on them for months on end), AND THEN take it all in jest as the nation finally watches, judges and COMMENTS. They really don't get enough credit for that.
We could never. We can't even watch our TikToks back.
Here's a solid – and recent – example; just imagine being TOWIE power couple Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brook, knowing for weeks and weeks that TOWIE producers had that footage of you singing Islands in the Stream together at Jordan's Wild West-themed birthday party (à la Gavin and Stacey's Nessa and Bryn), just waiting for its excruciating first air on telly.
And then – THEN – the editors decide to include (virtually) the whole bloody song in the final edit, as well as their cast mates' reactions...
Look, it was cute because it was Sophie and Jordan, but it's safe to say Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper don't have anything to worry about.
But like we said, these reality telly stars have an uncanny resilience and soon after the scene aired last weekend, Sophie took to her Instagram story to share her hilarious response to it with her followers.
Sharing Jordan's hilarious video of Sophie reacting to the cringe-worthy scene on ITVX, Sophie wrote, "I'm absolutely mortified and there's no going back. Them tequilas made me think I was Beyoncé in me head 😂 can't ever erase than now ffs."
Oh, how we love a relatable queen.
Jordan and Sophie – who have both appeared TOWIE and Geordie Shore – have been loved up since November 2022 and are now living together in Essex. While Jordan is a fully-fledged cast member, Sophie is a part-time hun.
In a recent episode of TOWIE, Jordan revealed to pal Elma Pazar that him and Soph are trying for a baby but have had some struggles with them even thinking Sophie was pregnant but it sadly turned out to be a false positive.
Fans flocked to social media to praise Jordan for his honesty and openness around the matter and the barber turned reality TV star thanked his followers for their support.
"I just want to say thank you so much for all of your kind words and support over last night and today. This is one of life's many obstacles and journeys that is currently upon me and my beautiful @sophiekasaei."
