When it comes to the lads of reality TV, be it TOWIE, Made in Chelsea or Love Island, there is always major discussions about their height.
Remember when winter Love Island finalist Tom Clare rocked up in the villa and everyone thought he was a descendant of some sort of giant? Poor Casey O'Gorman, who is actually 6ft, looked like a cute little Christmas elf next to him.
The latest former Islander to reveal his real height is Love Island 2024 winner, Sammy Root.
Sammy, who won the dating show alongside former girlfriend Jess Harding, has recently joined the cast of TOWIE and is often sharing a screen with his model pal Roman Hackett who is obviously a tall fella, so it had us wondering just how tall is Sammy?
Ask and you shall receive. The reality TV star recently took to Instagram to answer a few Q&A's and it must be spooky season as clearly someone was reading our minds when they asked, 'How tall are you? X'.
Sammy replied, '5'6' and erm, what?
Oh first thought was, 'Okay short king, we love the honesty', but then it hit us that there is no way Sammy is 5ft6.
It took a few stories for someone else to call out that Sammy isn't being completely truthful with his answer as they quizzed, 'Are you actually 5'6?!'
Jumping at the chance to share yet another topless pic form some sort of exotic holiday, Sammy replied, 'Na I was kidding 🤣. Not sure exactly, but around 6'3.'
Now that feels much more fitting.
We recall meeting Sammy and he did give Greek God energy; not only that. but he has spent a lot of time in the company of Zach Noble, who is also 6'3, and we never thought he looked particularly petite.
