These days TOWIE is a very different show compared to the one that first hit our screens all the way back in 2011 and introduced the world to vajazzles, Sugar Hut and the iconic phrase, “Oh, shut up!”

Most of the OGs left the show a long time ago, with Amy Childs and Harry Derbridge the only series one cast members still in the cast, but we’ll never forget the likes of Mark Wright, Lauren Goodger and Sam Faiers.

Another original cast member who is no longer on the show is Kirk Norcross, although it sounds like he’s more than up for a comeback if his recent comments are anything to go by.

Kirk was last seen on TOWIE’s eighth series back in 2013 but has admitted he would love to return “home” after a decade.

“I would like - no you know what - I would love to try to go back on The Only Way Is Essex,” he said on A County Down Under podcast in April this year.

“I really would. That was home to me, not just the filming, the production team, the soundmen, the camera crew, like when they mic you up, that little conversation with them."

Kirk continued, “I never watched reality, even when I was on The Only Way Is Essex, I never watched it.

“I'm not on it to watch myself, I just liked... Who doesn't want to be on cameras and bright lights and everything like that you know? It was good, I could be the flamboyant Kirk that I liked to be."

Kirk’s clearly still pals with some of his former co-stars as he was recently spotted at the launch of James Lock’s gym-wear brand with James Argent, Jordan Brook and Dan Edgar.

Get him back on the show, we say.
