When Joey Essex popped up in the most recent season of Selling Sunset, we were all kinds of gagged. And now, it seems that his fellow TOWIE star Junaid Ahmed could be following in his footsteps.
Last week, Essex legend Junaid – who’s found himself at the centre of A LOT of the drama on series 34 – posted a video giving his followers a tour of a swanky suite, which featured on last year's Married at First Sight UK.
We're not going to lie, he made a very convincing real estate agent and Junaid hinted he might be eyeing up a future job at The Oppenheim Group (or at least a UK estate agent), as he reshared the video and joked, ‘Not gonna lie I’m waiting for my call from Selling Sunset 🤣🤣.’
While Junaid, who joined the cast of the long-running ITVBe show two years ago, might not be jetting off to LA à la Joey just yet, the self-proclaimed ‘b*tch with a heart of gold’ has found himself in the middle of all kinds of drama on this series of TOWIE.
On the show, he was in a major love triangle after admitting he has feelings for his BFF Harry Derbidge's boyfriend Joe Blackman – just as Joe and Harry were facing a particularly rocky moment in their complicated relationship.
It was a controversial move, but Junaid stood by his feelings. Not only has he met Joe's mum but, according to Freddie Bentley, Junaid and Joe were snogging when Freddie called them on FaceTime.
Savage.
We know that Harry and Joe have already split but in an upcoming episode fans will see Harry confront Junaid after learning that he and Joe are now seeing each other.
Remember when Junaid and Harry used to be besties? Harry clearly does, as he’s seen crying and telling Junaid, ‘You clearly don't care.’
‘Of course I care about you, we were good friends,’ Junaid replies, with Harry shooting back, ‘You were my best friend. You knew how much I loved him.’
It looks like things will come to a head for the triangle in the TOWIE finale as not only has Harry posted about 'healing' but Frankie Sims and Demi Sims have returned to the show for him.
