The cast of TOWIE got bigger and, frankly, better earlier this year when Ella Rae Wise’s bestie Freddie Bentley joined the show six years after he rose to fame on Channel 4’s The Circle.
Even though he’s only appeared on two series so far, Freddie has already been responsible for some seriously memorable moments – including that furious row with Jordan Brook, where Jordan told him, ‘You’re on thin ice,’ and he quipped back the immortal words, ‘Well, let’s go skating.’
The kick-off never really got resolved, on-screen at least, so when we caught up with Freddie and Junaid Ahmed ahead of the return of the TOWIE Christmas special, we had to ask Freddie where he stands with Jordan now.
‘Me and Jordan had an off-screen conversation at the Christmas special and we’ve squashed any beef that we’ve got going on between us,’ Freddie exclusively told Closer online.
And, honestly, fair play, it is the season of goodwill to all men, after all.
‘I have moved on and got a new barber now. I think he was a little bit upset about that but in terms of beef, there is none,’ he continued.
Sadly though, it seems like Junaid hasn’t quite been able to build a bridge with Jordan as he told us, ‘No one really knows where they stand with Jordan.
‘He’s very… People are black and white, he’s grey.’
Is it just us or did it suddenly get very shady in here?
During their bust-up, Freddie accused Jordan of being ‘two-faced’ following the barber, singer and reality star’s admission that he ‘can’t stand’ Junaid after he coupled up with former bestie Harry Derbidge’s ex Joe Blackman.
Junaid initially thought he was on good terms with Jordan so was taken aback when he made his true feelings known. In true TOWIE fashion, Junaid, Joe and Jordan then came face-to-face outside a chip shop to have it out.
We can probably expect even more dramatic bump-ins when The Only Way is Essexmas returns this weekend after three years away.
