TOWIE has a long history of welcoming Love Island stars into the cast. First there was Jon Clark, then Olivia Attwood and, most recently, Elma Pazar.
Love Island 2016 winners Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey have even popped up on the show too alongside close friends Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet.
And now, according to reports, there’s going to be a Love Island 2023 bombshell rocking up in Essex during series 33 and not only that, but it’s also claimed they’re dating Roman Hackett.
Roman has famously been linked to former Love Island contestants Danica Taylor, Liberty Poole and Summer Botwe in the past, but it’s actually Ella Barnes – who was coupled up with Mitch Taylor during her time in the villa – who he’s apparently romantically involved with now.
It’s been reported that Ella has already filmed scenes on a night out with the likes of Ella Rae Wise, Jordan Brook and Sophie Kasaei.
A source told The Sun, “Ella was a huge hit on Love Island so it's no surprise she has landed more TV work.
“She's caught the eye of Roman, and is joining as his love interest. She's stunning and confident - so will fit in perfectly with the show."
TOWIE representatives have been contacted for comment.
We’re totally here for this reality TV crossover, especially if Ella brings the drama like she did when she entered the villa.
Love Island fans will remember that Ella entered the villa as a bombshell and quickly revealed her history with Tyrique Hyde – much to the dismay of Ella Thomas, who was coupled up with him.
Ella B then found herself in a love triangle with Mitch and Abi Moores (or a love square if you include Scott van der Sluis, who was in a couple with Abi). She and Mitch were dumped from the villa on day 56 and continued their relationship on the outside world.
However, Ella and Mitch’s relationship didn’t work out and they called it quits just a month later.
