The Love Island: All Stars circus is in full swing and our bodies and souls are ready for those All Stars to slow-mo walk x hair flip combo their bronzed, glistening bods into that South African villa. Earlier this week, Closer online caught up with our All Stars girlies – who are currently in holding in South Africa – on Zoom (aww, remember Zoom?). And while we're not really allowed to have faves at this stage, we were particularly excited to chinwag with our TOWIE x Love Island golden girl, Elma Pazar, because HOW did a TOWIE cast member keep this one quiet? We had zero clue she signed up, so cheers to you, hun.
As it turns out, Elma did tell a couple of TOWIE cast members the big secret ahead of the news dropping and we still had no clue. So cheers to you again, hun.
First of all, we can confirm that Elma is looking bloomin' gorgeous and is very much excited to meet someone within those villa walls, telling Closer online, 'I want to go in there and I want to meet someone,' adding, 'I'm going to be completely myself, but more open and not so closed off, I guess.'
Naturally the conversation turned to both TOWIE and her exes and soon enough, James 'Diags' Bennewith's name had been uttered. Now, we half expected Elma to immediately steer this conversation to literally anything else at this point, but interestingly, the TOWIE star got all reflective and went into detail about why things never worked out with Diags.
Fans of the show won't need us to remind them that Elma and Diags had a very complicated 'situationship' for a couple of seasons in 2023, a 'situationship' that came to a screeching halt when he started dating Jodie Wells (who he has apparently now split from). Anyway, throughout their 'situationship', fans and co-stars alike just couldn't understand why Elma and Diags could never officially commit to another.
Cue Elma spilling the tea in South Africa. She told us, 'I think I've been consistently inconsistent.'
She explained, 'Unfortunately for [Diags], I was quite aware that I actually had some sort of commitment issue when it came to that time of my life.
'I feel like that was a while ago now, it's like two years ago, I think. I just feel like I thought that I wanted that with James, but I actually didn't.'
'Again, that was two years ago. I feel like so much happens in such short periods of time.'
When asked to describe her type (on paper) and what she's looking for in the All Stars villa, she replied, 'Like, light eyes. Yeah, tall, really tall, ideally, over six foot two, but I'll take six foot. Yeah, and a dad bod. That's like, my ideal, and someone that is really funny. I laugh at anything anyway, so it doesn't take a lot, but I feel like I would want someone that's like, gonna catch my sense of humour and be able to have a joke with me and just not take it all too serious.'
