Okay, we're getting a serious case of TOWIE déjà vu now.
One of the storylines slowly building in series 33 is the 'relight my fire' vibes sparking between besties/former FWBs Dani Imbert and Roman Hackett – well, it's mostly Roman trying VERY hard to re-woo Dani by, say, galloping around a cowboy-themed party in pants with Dani's face on them.
You might remember that Roman played this game back in 2022, which erm, didn't exactly work out and led to Dani hooking up with then-boyfriend, Reiss Boyce, off-camera.
Sadly, the off-screen relationship didn't last long and she eventually split with Reiss.
Fast forward to 2024 and we're now watching Roman once again trying to painfully flirt with Dani while she connects with another guy off-screen – her ex-boyfriend, Reiss, it appears. See, TOWIE déjà vu.
During our daily nose at Dani's Instagram stories, we spotted this summery snap of her and a mystery tattooed man sharing an ice cream in the sun somewhere that definitely isn't the UK.
It's giving romantic getaway...
Obviously, this is hardly concrete evidence that Dani and Reiss are back together, but we swear we've sen those arm and hand tatts before... on Reiss. Hmm. Watch this space and all that.

What happened with Dani Imbert and Reiss Boyce first time around?
Cast your minds back to 2022; Dani and Roman are deciding which label to put on their complicated/boundary-deficient relationship and we're watching every pipette drop of drama unfold on the telly and, of course, lapping it up because our lives are, frankly, boring.
Fast forward a year later and the reality star is keeping her reality WELL away from any ITV cameras – and by that we mean her new relationship with Reiss.
The pair got together in early 2023 and reportedly split (nice and quietly) in December 2023 after months of dating.
Dani also unfollowed Reiss on Instagram and removed any traces of their romance from her profile.
“It's not looking good between them,” the source told The Sun at the time.
“Obviously there is always the chance of reconciliation but right now, Dani is done and seeing herself as a single girl.”
At the time, Dani shared a passive aggressive Instagram meme which read, "You're rare, so people are gonna fall in love with the idea of having you, but most of them aren't used to rare, they're foreign to it, so they'll lack the capacity to treat you as such. And that's were they lose you."
A telltale sign of a relationship breakdown in Essex is a passive aggressive meme share.
Dani, who previously dated co-star Roman, first confirmed her relationship with Reiss back in April 2023 when they went on holiday together.
Although Reiss never appeared on the show, Dani gave fans a glimpse into their relationship on social media.
She captioned one cute snap, "Soulmate & best friend all in one 🫶🏽."
Dani previously showed off her the relationship in a romantic TikTok which featured the pair holidaying in Paris, kissing, and cosying up together.
According to reports, Reiss owned his own decorating company up until a few years ago.
