It’s been two years since she quit TOWIE for LA and Chloe Sims is well and truly living her best life Stateside, having celebrated her 43rd birthday with a star-studded party at a Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood over the weekend.
Her sisters Frankie and Demi were nowhere to be seen following their surprise return to TOWIE, while brother Charlie also missed out as he was back in the UK, but Chloe was joined by guests including her cousin Joey Essex, bestie Vas J Morgan and even Rita Ora.
But Joey and Vas weren’t the only former TOWIE stars who received an invite to Chloe’s birthday bash, as one of her former flames was also in attendance.
No, it wasn’t Pete Wicks, who is currently spending his Saturday nights competing on Strictly alongside dance partner Jowita Pryzstal, it was actually Liam Blackwell, who is also now based in LA after relocating there last year.
Gatsby took to his Instagram story to share a snap of Chloe and Rita at the party and captioned the post, ‘Happy Birthday @chloesims ❤️.’
If you’re die-hard TOWIE fans like us, then you’ll probably remember Chloe and Gatsby’s brief festive fling back in 2016. Things got romantic between them at Christmas, but Chloe called time on their relationship shortly after and Gatsby was left devastated.
They even fell out when Gatsby made some choice remarks about Chloe, although he later apologised and they agreed to be friends.
Since he moved to America last year, Gatsby has launched a career in real estate and has been selling lavish million-dollar properties across LA.
Meanwhile, Chloe recently opened about another of her exes, Pete, amid rumours that he’s been growing close to pro dancer Jowita.
Revealing why Pete is so successful with the ladies, Chloe explained, ‘Pete is a right bloody charmer, even men go silly for him, straight men.
‘I used to look at him and think, what has this guy got? It's so bizarre, men love him, women love him, older women, younger women, he's just got something, this charm about him.'
