You can always rely on TOWIE turned Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks to make a joke in the most serious of times.

The podcaster is currently taking part in this year's series of Strictly and between dressing up as George of the the Jungle and ignoring rumours he is romancing dance partner Jowita Przystal, Pete has found time to put his dark humour to use.

Taking to Instagram Pete decided to channel his inner social media personality and do a Q&A like any good reality TV star does.

One follower asked, 'Are you smashing training with week? 🤔.'

Sharing a pic of him and Jowita in the dance studio pulling some rather interesting shapes, Pete replied, 'This is the hardest week for me but I'm 💯 in and need to stop getting into my head about it,' he also added, 'Poor @jowitaprzystal has dealt with a range of moods this week!'

But that wasn't all, his next story featured not only him and Jowita in dance classes but a mystery woman also joined them and it turns out that she is in fact the 'training room researcher.'

Erm, a what?

Pete's caption read, 'Back at training with our delightful training room researcher....(Just in case anyone believes the press 👀 😂).'

Ah, we assume that Pete is referring to the Strictly scandal featuring Graziano di Prima and Giovanni Pernice that is currently making the rounds.

Both dancers are no longer part of the entertainment show after accusations of 'abuse' from some of their former celeb dance partners, one of which is Pete's pal and former Love Island contestant, Zara McDermott.

At least we now have proof that the BBC are in fact putting regulations in place to protect and support their contestants.
