There’s horror in the Dales when Robert snatches his son and the Whites are involved in a head on collision. YIKES! Will anyone get out alive?
There’s no rest for the wicked and Robert’s New Year gets off to a desperate and dramatic start when he hires a private investigator to try and find out what the White family are plotting.
However, he’s rocked to his core when his spy informs him that Chrissie and co are planning to move to Australia and will be taking his baby son, Seb with them Down Under. That’s certainly news to Robert!
The desperate dad knows he must stop them no matter what and quickly starts hatching a plan.
But it appears that there's one member of the White crew who isn’t keen on jetting off to the other side of the world, and that’s Lachlan. The troubled teen has no intention of being parted from his girlfriend Belle much to Chrissie’s huge irritation.
Determined that spoilt brat Lucky will be getting on that plane, the scheming mum goes to see Belle and divulges all of Lachlan’s recent unsettling antics…just the run of the mill stuff like him sleeping with a prostitute. That kind of thing. Ahem.
Her underhand betrayal works and sure enough Belle later dumps a heart-broken Lachlan. Aah bless him.
Meanwhile Chrissie, Rebecca and Lawrence have their cases packed and are loading up their car but panic breaks out when, with Victoria’s help, Robert manages to snatch baby Seb while the family is distracted!
Robert screeches off in his car, like some kind of Lewis Hamilton, with his son on board and is followed in hot pursuit by the Whites.
A dangerous chase ensues with Chrissie in the driving seat, but when a furious Lachlan starts arguing with his mum and grabs the wheel, she loses control of the vehicle.
Their car goes hurtling headlong into road of an oncoming lorry and there’s a deafening thud and screech of brakes as two vehicles collide!
Will Chrissie, Rebecca, Lawrence or Lachlan make it out of the crumpled wreckage, or has the entire White family been wiped out in one fatal collision? And what has happened to Robert and baby Seb?
Seriously, talk about a dramatic start to 2018! There’s never a dull moment in those Dales!
