Mick Carter is set to grow even closer to his daughter-in-law, Whitney Carter, next week as his financial problems get even worse. Things are just beginning to finally look up for Mick after weeks of finacial worries, along with Lee skipping Walford, leaving Whit high and dry.
The pub landlord - played by Danny Dyer - tells the police about Babe's disappearing act and finds out that he'll have less of a fine to pay. But it's not long before some bad news leaves him reeling.
Mick finds himself turning to Whitney for support. When Shirley suggests Mick sets up a meeting with the bank to ask for a loan, she's put out when he invites Whitney along instead of her.
Mick's finances are in dire straights - will the bank come through for him? And has Shirley clocked that things aren't as innocent as they seem between Mick and Whitney?
