Fans of The Real Housewives of Cheshire won't need us to tell them that series 18, the ten-year-anniversary season, is seriously slapping. We might need to tell you what the word 'slapping' means in this context as we definitely had to double check on Urban Dictionary. It means it's seriously doing the job.
From the army of ex Housewives they have brought back from the great Cheshire beyond – including season one OGs Leanne Brown and Dawn Ward – to the sudden departure of Nicole Sealey after those explosive scenes in Thailand, it's been a ride, but it's far from over.
One of the biggest storylines keeping us glued to our screens every Monday night is the fiery feud raging on between show veteran Seema Malhotra and her ex-bestie Paige Chohan, who is certainly bringing her unique brand of hurricane to the screen this season.
ICYMI (sorry, what else are you doing on a Monday night?), the Cheshire queens have been drifting in recent months and both admit their friendship isn't as strong as it once was (lest we forget, Seema brought Paige into the group once upon a time).
In series 18, they're essentially blaming one another for this drift and they're not shy about sharing these feelings with other cast members, making things a tad awkward for the likes of Ell Egar who is fiercely loyal to Paige, and friendly with the other ladies.
The tension has been escalating throughout the series and culminated with Seema referring to Paige as 'just a client', which was pretty much the nail in the coffin. Or so we thought...
After some social media sleuthing, Closer online recently learned that the cast wrapped the final episode of the milestone series with a charity fundraiser held by OG Ampika Pickston (the dress code was animal print, which has made for some supreme content) earlier this week.
Naturally, the majority of the ladies took to their Instagram grids to show off their stunning lewks and celebrate the finale, including Paige who shared a gorgeous snap of her and husband Amir drenched in spring sunshine.
Now, usually when our Housewives do this it's not uncommon for their co-star allies to jump to the comments to tell them how gorgeous they look; as of late though, it has been fairly uncommon for Paige and Seema to do this to other, given their bitter feud playing out on screen.
So why – we ask you – is Seema commenting on Paige's latest grid post with two fire emojis? That's certainly giving more than 'client' if you ask us.
Bear in mind, what we're watching on-screen right now was filmed a couple of months ago, so it's quite possible that in the here and now (the end of the series) the ladies have resolved things.
But then again, they've still got the reunion to film...
