Regular readers of Closer online will know that we are pretty much constantly manifesting a Real Housewives of Cheshire and Love Island crossover – more specifically, a Love Island star cameoing on RHOCheshire. Honestly, that's the stuff that gets us up in the morning.
Although technically we are STILL waiting for an epic Islander for flaunt their stuff on the boujie streets of Cheshire for ITVBe, a handful of stars have teased the possibility of a crossover. Looking at you, Olivia Attwood and Paige Thorne (well, maybe not Paige any more; not after all that awks Forever Unique drama with Seema Malhotra).
These LI/RHOCheshire queens do tend to get invited to the same lavish events too, and all have dealings with ITV, so we'll continue to manifest such outrageous levels of glamour.
The latest Love Island star to whet our appetite with possibility is none other that winter Love Island 2023 bombshell Claudia Fogarty, who recently guested on a podcast hosted by a former RHOCheshire legend for a seriously unfiltered chinwag (just how we like them).
Claudia guested on one of our fave weekly podcasts, Nip, Tuck, Not Giving A F*ck, hosted by Lauren Harris and former RHOCheshire 'friend' Ashley Stobart, who was iconically introduced to the show by Katie Alex during series 15 (we need her back, if you're reading this, RHOCheshire bosses).
According to the gals, Lauren and Claudia met on an influencer trip on board a Virgin cruise earlier this summer (there was a period where half the UK's influencers were floating around in the middle of the ocean courtesy of Virgin) and have kept in touch – we're assuming Claudia met RHOCheshire Ashley through Lauren.
We always anticipate good stuff from this loose-lipped duo, but let us tell you, adding Claudia to the mix resulted in a dangerous amount of Love Island tea being spilled, proving just how iconic a genuine Love Island/RHOCheshire crossover really could be.
During the tell-all podcast, Claudia opened up about what she's really been up to with Casey O'Gorman IRL (the phrase "sorry mum" was uttered a couple of times), lifted the lid on a violent stomach bug that rocked the winter villa and revealed the major rule she broke before even going on to the show. Honestly, fire emoji stuff.
Is Olivia Attwood going on RHOCheshire?
Since the Love Island 2017 star first moved to Cheshire with fiancée footie star Bradley Dack, we've been hoping and praying that Liv would join the cast of RHOCheshire and just spend her leisure time living a life of glitz, glamour and grim dinner parties.
We've clearly not been manifesting hard enough.
Interestingly, she is currently working with ex Housewife Katie Alex, so never say never...
Is Love Island 2022 star Paige Thorne going on RHOCheshire?
Unlikely, but for a good spell last year it was a possibility as it was revealed that the Love Island 2022 was partnering up Seema Malhotra's fashion label, Forever Unique – until she suddenly wasn't. Paige later spoke out about her ongoing feud with Seema, describing it "the darkest time in her life."
In April 2023, Paige revealed that she was "owed money" and was suing Forever Unique for breach of contract.
The Islander said, "I was literally like, ‘Oh my God, I’m owed money. Like, what am I meant to do?’ I’m a home owner and I was so stressed about paying my bills that I was crying to my parents every day, saying, ‘What am I going to do?’ I was relying on that contract so much...
"I wish I could say it was a good experience, but it’s just been an absolute nightmare, and it’s ongoing."
It's a shame because when things were good between the pair they were really good – she even exclusively revealed to Closer that we might see Paige on RHOCheshire one day.
It's safe to say that will not be transpiring anytime soon.
How do Samie Elishi and Claudia Fogarty know Rachel Lugo?
Samie Elishi and Claudia met legendary Housewife Rachel Lugo during an influencer trip on board a Virgin cruise earlier this year. They shared a selfie together which mildly broke us last month.
Let's all keep manifesting, yeah?
