If you're watching the latest series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire then you won't need us to tell you that new housewife Katie Alex hasn't had the easiest transition into the group. That's an understatement; she practically had to duck at THAT dinner party from hell - we certainly retreated into the gaps in our sofa when Lauren Simon started slinging choice four letter words at her.

Here's a gentle reminder...

It's safe to say the tension is not at a simmer this season; in fact, it's at boiling point (and right before a girls trip to Malta - what could go wrong?), but luckily, producers are allowing the victims of this year's #dramz to enlist reinforcements from their 'real' lives.

Lystra Adams appears to have recruited Real Housewives of Jersey star Karen Loderick-Peace (who is joining the girls on their upcoming trip), while Katie has called upon former client and friend, Ashley Stobart.

If RHOCheshire producers had any sense they'd make this new queen on the scene a fully-fledged housewife immediately before some other glam reality show snaps her up, because in just two episodes she has brought ELEVATION to the series and, frankly, single-handedly dragged it into 2022.

Everyone needs a friend like Ashley, so Katie, we totally understand why you want her in your corner.

In true RHOCheshire fashion, Ashley is already bringing fashion, sass and bite; seriously, despite being the youngest character on the scene, she does not hold back so we were keen to get her thoughts on the current drama plaguing the season (i.e. the Mason/Lauren/Nicole/Katie drama) when we caught up with her recently.

She exclusively revealed to Closer that the drama we're witnessing on screen is one hundred percent real; so real, in fact, that on occasion it could be described as "terrifying".

Ashley told us, “Yes, it’s all real. It’s terrifying.

"Like I said, I’m not there to make enemies or anything, I want to bring some light-hearted fun; my podcast is all about women supporting women and being honest. No negative vibes. So hopefully I can bring some more fun, instead of drama.

"But, yeah, the drama is real, babe.”

In addition to guest starring on the current season of RHOCheshire, Ashley co-hosts the successful podcast, 'Nip, Tuck, Not Giving A...' with best friend Lauren Harris, which we are equally as obsessed with. The unfiltered podcast is all about making you feel unapologetically yourself; about creating a tribe of positive, aspirational women who never give a… well, you know.

Watch this one. We know the housewives will be.
