Following this weekend’s trip to Blackpool’s iconic Tower Ballroom, the Strictly Come Dancing final is inching ever closer and we’re pleased that most of our faves are still in the competition.
The likes of TOWIE legend Pete Wicks and EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick are still competing for the Glitterball trophy, as well as Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri.
Tasha and her professional dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, who recently returned to the Strictly ballroom after two years, are huge favourites to win after earning the first ten of the series a few weeks back and as well as their formidable partnership, it seems like they’ve formed a close friendship too.
The Love Island 2022 star recently attended the Pride of Britain Awards with Aljaž and his wife Janette Manrara, who hosts It Takes Two alongside Fleur East, and Aljaž has been spotted hanging out with Tasha and her boyfriend Andrew Le Page too.
Love Island fans will know that Tasha and Andrew have gone from strength to strength since finishing the ITV2 show in fourth place two years ago and it seems that the next step for them is a WEDDING – and Aljaž has an important role to play in the ceremony.
‘Andrew’s the man I’m going to marry at some point,’ Tasha told the Sunday Times in a recent interview.
The TV personality, who also hosts her own podcast, Superpowers with Tasha, then let slip that Aljaž has agreed to choreograph her and Andrew’s first dance, although she has one condition.
‘I’ll say to Aljaz keep it slow, nothing crazy,’ Tasha added.
Let’s hope our invite to the big day doesn’t get lost in the post…
Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood recently told Closer how much Tasha’s been impressing him on the dance floor and we all know he’s a hard man to please, so she’s definitely doing something right.
‘Every dance she's done has been incredible – whether she'll win or not is another thing,’ he told us. ‘I think Tasha will be a finalist.’
High praise indeed.
Are Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page still together?
Yep, Tasha and Andrew are one of just two Love Island 2022 couples still together to this day alongside Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope. Tasha and Andrew have ticked off loads of milestones since leaving the villa, including moving together, getting a dog and getting tattoos dedicated to each other. Andrew has also been supporting Tasha throughout her Strictly journey.
