The new series of Strictly Come Dancing starts this Saturday (16 September) and while we are more than excited that our fave dancing show is back on the box, the thought of Craig Revel Horwood leaving the show has us in a panic.
And Craig says his time on the show is nearly up, saying, “When I’m 60, hang up my shoes and enjoy life.”
Seeing as he is now 58 years old that means we have just two more years of Craig offering up fabulous advice, iconic one liners and low score numbers. Here's hoping someone can convince the judge to stay just a little bit longer; we are relying on the class of Strictly 2023 to show him how fun life on the show is.
Craig added, speaking to Best magazine, "I'm now the same age as the late, great Len Goodman was when he first started - that's scary, isn't it?"
The Aussie born judge is the longest running member of the panel having joined the show in 2004. He is famed for offering up harsh critique and has given a score of "1" more than any other judge.
And we love him for it.
