The more we learn about the Love Island villa the more we love the fact that we're in our mid-30s and would therefore never be invited on.

Frankly, it sounds like hell. Okay, maybe not hell, but it does sound like a giant hostel; one where the sheets don't get changed anywhere near enough given the frequency of the bed hopping, the bathrooms are a little too communal, and sleeping? Who is she?

According to Casa Amor bombshell Hugo Godfroy, getting a decent night's kip in the Love Island 2024 villa is the worst part of living in the Majorca mansion, and we can't say we're surprised – a dozen or so people sleeping in a giant windowless bedroom together.

Yeah, that's a no from us.

In an exclusive chat with Closer Online, Hugo revealed, "For me, the hardest thing in the villa was the sleeping. I really struggled to sleep in the villa. I didn't know what time it was at night. The first night we went into the main villa they made me sleep outside - it must've been about 5am. And within an hour..."

Yeah, that's another no from us.

Hugo continued, "We'd literally gone to bed and within an hour the sun was beaming on us. Thirty-degree heat... I just wasn't able to sleep."

Phwoar, we know the feeling, Hugo. We manifested this weather and now we are DYING.

Jess White – who coupled up with Hugo after clicking with her in Casa Amor – then added, "I think, as well, you go to sleep at like five in the morning and you don't wake up till midday, but you then have like a chill day, maybe the day after, when your body clock is used to going to bed at like five in the morning, and then on your chill days, they're like, 'right, everyone go to sleep', and it's like 9pm. How can you go from one extreme to the other?

"And then they're like, 'You're going to have a really good sleep tonight', but we'd just be up [late in the morning] staring at each other wondering when they were going to wake us up because we'd had like fifteen hours sleep."

Throw in a sleep paralysis demon and it sounds like actual hell. Another no from us.

Hugo then wrapped things up by adding, "Also, on the down days, the boys and the girls were separated, so as a boy you'd have to share a bed with a boy and if you're with a snorer or someone that farts..."

Hell.
