It was one of the most unsuspecting celebrity pairings of 2024, but after months and months of clear sailing – we're talking endless lavish dates and boujie holidays – Love Island's Samie Elishi and TOWIE's Harry Lee eventually managed to hush the haters. Oop.
There we were, casually thinking about Samie's go to face tanner (which is currently half-price on Amazon FYI), when The Sun reported that the reality telly couple's fairytale journey had come to an abrupt end.
The couple had been secretly dating for weeks at the start of 2024 and then hard-launched their relationship in March 2024, but according to a source close to the publication the relationship is done and dusted.
The source told The Sun, "In recent months they have grown apart and decided it was better to remain friends.
"They tried their best to make things work but some things just aren't meant to be, they decided to call it quits before things became messy but wish each other the best."
That's all well and good, but it looks as though the couple have already unfollowed each other on Instagram and have removed most snaps of one another from their respective grids, which let's be honest, is exactly how your hard launch a dumping in 2024.
After making it to the finals in the winter version of last year's Love Island alongside northerner Tom Clare, it looked as though Samie and her football playing fella were love's young dream - for about a month, anyway.
They called it a day on romance in April 2023 making them the first pair from the final four couples to not make it work on the outside.
Rumours then began to circulate a few months back that Samie was dating Chloe Brockett's footballer ex, leading to weeks of rumours and speculation before the couple finally confirmed things on their respective socials in March 2024.
At the time, Samie shared a photo of her and Harry smooching on her Instagram story, caption the pic, "Happiest of birthdays to youuu ❤️."
