Historically, the build up to a new Love Island series is more exciting than the actual event itself (a bit like Christmas), and a huge part of the annual buzz is the press being drip-fed rumoured Islanders before hand and, this year, one of those rumoured Islanders was Liverpudlian make up artist Samantha Kenny.
Shock of shocks, we weren't surprised to learn she was absolutely stunning, but we were a tad caught of guard by the 27-year-old's remarkable resemblance to Love Island 2020 bombshell turned All Stars winner, Molly Smith (with a sprinkling of Abbey Clancy).
We knew Love Island casting were always on the hunt for a certain 'look', but if Iain Sterling told us that Molly was recently single and had decided to give Love Island yet another go, we might've believed it, because these two could be twins.
To clarify, Samantha is definitely not Molly; Molly is definitely living her happily ever after up north with her gorgeous, gargantuan boyfriend, Tom Clare.
Samantha has, however, been coupled up with one of the villa's two Tom Clare lookalikes, Sam Taylor (the other being Ciaran Davies, obv). And as good as they look together, Samantha has already stated that she doesn't like mullets and flat-out announced that Sam is not her type.
Instead, she's got her eye on cheeky chappie, Ronnie Vint – which makes sense as she's said countless times that her type is "tall, dark and cockney".
We're manifesting these two getting together, to be honest; we've just finished bingeing Footballer's Wives for the first time in years and they'd be totally that vibe as a Love Island power couple. Joey Essex, stay away – don't ruin this for us.
