Love Island 2024 has not been short of iconic Islanders, but one Islander in particular has left a lasting impression on the fandom – that Islander is OG Samantha Kenny. While she only managed 16 days in the villa, she was the first Love Island 2024 star to couple up with notorious bombshell, former TOWIE star Joey Essex.
We followed their cute journey together for a fortnight, but in the end Joey had his head turned by his bombshell ex Grace Jackson resulting in Samantha being left single and dumped.

Samantha took part in Love Island 2024 as an OG. She entered the villa on day one and was dumped on day 16, which FUN FACT means she never actually met the likes of Matilda Draper and Konnor Ewudzi - wild.

Samantha then returned to the villa ahead of the final to confront Joey, criticising him for leading her on for two weeks after he referred to the relationship as a "friendship couple".

Upon leaving the villa she told producers, "I was true to myself and didn't feel like it was a waste of my time because I followed what I felt was right for me. When it comes to Joey, I think if I knew what I know now, I perhaps would have done things differently."
