Love Island OG throws shade at ‘wrong’ Islander following All Stars announcement

The OG was rumoured for All Stars

Forget the confirmed cast for a minute (although, HARD 'cause it's top tier), Love Island: All Stars season must be a time of conflicting emotions if you're an Islander not actually involved in the series. On the one hand, you might be chuffed to see some of your mates stepping back into the villa, but on the other, but there's also every chance someone you've fallen out with (very publicly) or God forbid, even dated once (Islanders all, erm, move in the same circles), is about to slow-mo walk right back into that villa and air some dirty laundry.

It inevitably means a lot of drama being rehashed in front of the nation. At least us lot can just block and move on.

There's also those former Islanders who perhaps wanted a coveted All Stars invite, but for whatever reason didn't get one or had to turn it down that are now looking at what could've been. That can't be a nice feeling either.

Now we're not saying winter Love Island 2023 OG Ron Hall falls into any of these categories (although we're guessing he's pretty chuffed for his bestie Luca Bish, who has been confirmed?), but if we were him right now, we'd probably be throwing shade at the new All Stars cast in fits of fury, so we get why he has seemingly done so in a very public arena.

ICYMI, the All Stars 2025 cast was confirmed this morning (well, the 12 OGs entering the villla, anyway) on social media and naturally, the comments are popping off, but one seemingly salty comment, courtesy of Ron – who famously dated Lana Jenkins once upon a time – has caught a fair bit of attention today (Tuesday 7 January 2025).

And it's aimed at 'wrong' Love Island star Ronnie Vint, who has been confirmed as part of this year's line-up.

Taking to the Instagram post which confirmed the Love Island 2024 OG's involvement in the series, Ron commented, 'Ahhh you got the wrong Ronnie…'

Ooft. Inset Drag Race shade rattle here...

At first this seems a bit of a shady comment towards casting, producers and Ronnie, but if you watched Ron on winter Love Island, you'll know that this is most likely just some classic Ron banter.

But, to be fair, even if he was a bit salty, we wouldn't blame him; we were definitely expecting to see Ron on this series' line-up. And now we know he could've been in that villa getting his menace on with his pal Luca, too, we're feeling a tad robbed at some potential telly gold.

Unless this is some Instagram double bluff and Ron is secretly waiting in a South African hotel eager to shake things up as a bombshell and is just chucking shade at Ronnie boy to pass the time.

At this stage, all we can do is speculate and manifest.

OMG, imagine if we get another 'Battle of the Ella's' moment with Ron and Ronnie in a few weeks time. To be fair, both Rons had the same magnetic effect on their season's ladies if memory serves.
