Are we really going to be living in a world where the only couple who survived Love Island 2024 were involved in one of the most savage Casa Amor moments in the dating show's history? Fans sure seem to think so.
Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies were declared runners up of this year's season of Love Island with Mimii Ngulube and Josh Sunday Oysinsan being crowned the winners; Josh and Mimii split a few months after, but Nicole and Ciaran still together. Or are they?
Fans can't help but speculate that love's young Welsh dream have called it quits after an 'awkward' ad video as well as minimum social media interaction between the two of them as of late. Not only that, but a source, who recently attended an event alongside Nicole and Ciaran recently, has revealed how the duo, 'kept their distance from each other' the entire night.
So, what gives, guys?
Over on Reddit one eagle eyed fan shared an ad video of Nicole and Ciaran where they wrote, 'Something is up, they look awkward together 💔💔,' with Redditors all thinking the same.
'It’s like they were given a challenge to not look at each other 💀,' one person declared, with another adding, 'Not Wil [Anderson] and Uma [Jammeh] on their way to being the longest lasting couple of this season despite all the Casa chaos 😅.'
Ciaran posted a pic of him and Nicole on Instagram a few days ago, but since then there has been little to no interaction between the couple.
Fans have filled the comments section on that particular pic with their thoughts on the couple's current relationship status and it does NOT sound good.
One follower wrote, 'Everyone’s talking about how their season no one is together anymore so I’m thinking they want to be the last one standing,' while another added, 'He's also moved back to his mum's too. Whenever you see his Snapchat pics "at home" he's not in Nicole's house...he's at his.'
Although the OG Islanders both went to a Christmas party last night, a source told heat that they barely spoke.
'He [Ciaran] spent most of the night hanging out with pals like Sammy Root, while Nicole partied with Ella Rae Wise and Chloe Ferry,' they explained before adding, ‘they didn’t leave together either, as Nicole appeared to make an early exit, but Ciaran stayed out longer.’
Obviously, neither Ciaran or Nicole have spoken out about what's going on between them but it doesn't look good, folks; it doesn't look good at all.
