We’ve been counting down the days for Love Island 2025's All Stars since the minute that Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan were crowned the winners of the 2024 summer series, because although we’ve been keeping tabs on our favourite Islanders through their social media, it’s just not enough.
Especially when it comes to someone like Nas Majeed who starred on season six of Love Island. You’ll remember that he had a bumpy journey at the start – coupling up with Siannise Fudge, Jess Gale and Demi Jones before finding love in Casa Amor with Eva Zapico who he went on to date for four years outside the villa.
Because Nas, 28, hasn’t been quite as prolific as some of his fellow 2020 Islanders like Paige Turley, Molly Smith and Shaughna Phillips.
But the former builder has an explanation.
When we caught up with Nas ahead of his return to Love Island, naturally we had to ask him is there were any former Islanders that he’d love to couple up with. And his answer took an interesting turn.
He told us, ‘No, I mean the fact that I was with Eva for four years, you know a lot of the people that I've met along the way [knew me as being in that relationship].
'I was tied into our relationship and when I’m with someone I'm very tunnel vision. I don't tend to stray. Well, I don't stray at all, so I never actually thought of anyone in that way.
‘I maybe met people on a very surface level like a “hi and bye” type thing. Even Aaron Francis, for example - I've grown quite close with him recently - he was like, “It's a crazy thing that you actually went missing for years. I didn't know who you were until this past year or so..”'
Nas continued, ‘Because when you're with someone, everything's just very tunnel vision towards that.
'So again, I think that's another reason why I'm going into this excited, because I don't know who's going to surprise me.
'Although I may have met them before, I wouldn't have been in that headspace or that capacity to get to know them any further than I already have done.'
Bring on All Stars 2025, we can't wait to see who the public have coupled him up with.
