A secret is rarely kept secret in the world of Love Island, or on any reality TV show for that matter, and yet we swear no one knew that Montel McKenzie was heading into the All Stars villa.
To be fair, it is probably because everyone was obsessed with Harriett Blackmore returning to Love Island where she is set to be reunited with her cheating ex, Ronnie Vint.
At the end of last night's episode it was revealed that Montel and Harriett would be the latest bombshells to rock the Islanders and we have a feeling that is EXACTLY what they're going to be doing. We can't wait to see Ronnie's reaction when Harriett and her bouncy blow dry stomp into the South African villa whilst he's lipsing Elma Pazar.
As always, we do contemplate the real reason the contestants go back on the romance reality TV show; the likes of Casey O'Gorman has spent the last THREE Januarys living it up on Love Island. To be fair, a free holiday is always a win.
During his pre-dating show chat, Montel revealed that he is giving the villa a second shot because he wants 'to find love and Love Island is the best environment to find that.'
We're not sure what evidence the Love Island 2023 footballer has to support this theory, however, WE have some evidence that supports another theory for his Love Island return.
Just as it was announced that Montel was the latest bombshell, the Instagram account of Billericay Town football club, which is who the Islander plays for, posted a statement about his trip to South Africa.
'The Club can now confirm Montel McKenzie will be appearing on Love Island: All Stars for the next couple of weeks. He is currently out for four to six weeks due to injury so has decided to return to the television arena 📺.
'Best of luck, Montel 👊.'
One person commented, 'That’s quality 😂😂,' with a BFC fan club account not appreciating his move as they declared, 'convenient.'
Someone else wrote, 'Hoping to hear the line “I could have made it pro, but I had a bad knee injury",' and a perfect example of hilarious but not too brutal shade.
