It was a cheating affair worthy of a Gossip Girl episode; the type of secretive scandal you only read about in a Taylor Jenkins Reid novel, but the kiss between Love Island contestant Maura Higgins and McFly's Danny Jones was very real indeed.
Danny, who is married and has a child with former Miss World Georgia Horsley, was in some MAJOR trouble when he was spotted locking lips with the Irish Islander at the BRIT awards earlier this month.
Since the news broke, Danny has taken to social media stating, 'I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately. I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.'
While rumours circulate that Georgia has moved out of her home, she shares with Danny and their son Cooper, Maura is currently in Texas with some other Love Island stars making us all jealous and wanting to visit the Southern state immediately.
Taking to social media, the Love Island 2019 finalist has been keeping her followers updated on her latest getaway to America with hair care brand, Colour Wow. From horse-riding and having her hair done, to showing off new fits and taking selfies with close pal hairdresser, Carl Bembridge, Maura is living her best life.
But who else is also enjoying this press trip? None other than All Stars babe, Grace Jackson and we can't even begin to imagine the chaos these two would cause if they became BFFs.
There is something about Maura and Grace which makes us think they were cut from the same cloth. The way the bombshells handled themselves - as well as the respect (or lack thereof) from potential love interests - during their stint in the villa was extremely similar.
From what we can see, the duo are yet to cross each others paths but it's only a matter of time before Maura and Grace are at the same dinner table and we have a feeling it will be a sight to behold.
