It’s been just over a week since the Love Island: All Stars final and now that the finalists are all back on home turf, they’ve been doing the usual rounds talking to press and appearing on podcasts to debrief on their time in the villa and dish the dirt on what viewers didn’t get to see on TV.

One of the biggest talking points from this year’s All Stars was Elma Pazar’s feud with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard following a number of explosive rows.

Elma’s clashes with Ekin and Curtis divided fans, with many taking to social media to criticise the Love Island 2018 and TOWIE star. While Elma is yet to break her silence on the backlash, her fellow All Star Luca Bish has spoken out to reveal how she really feels.

Appearing on Made in Chelsea stars Sophie Habboo and Melissa Tattam’s Wednesdays podcast alongside Grace Jackson, Luca shared Elma’s sadness at how she’d been perceived by viewers.

‘Elma coming out, she’s upset, she is proper upset,’ he said.

‘I don’t think any of us expected that.’

Luca continued, ‘Elma actually has such a sweet soul and when she does something wrong or she feels like she’s done something wrong, like sending three Islanders home, that ate her up for time.’

He added, ‘One thing I’ll say about Elma, she was like the mum of the group. She was literally the nicest girl to everyone.

‘We haven’t seen what’s been shown, but one thing you can’t question is that girl’s morals.’

Grace chimed in, ‘She’s like a ride or die. She will have your back and she’s just so lovely and I think that’s what hurtful [about the backlash].’

Luca and Grace aren’t the only Islanders who have spoken out to defend Elma as Francesca Allen, who also appeared on Love Island 2018, recently urged viewers to ‘be a little kinder online’ and insisted ‘the level of hate has gone too far’.

‘She’s the kindest, loyalist person I know, the labels being given is not who she is,’ Francesca added.
