Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey won Love Island 2016

It’s every girl’s right to get rip-roaringly pissed on her hen do – so full credit to Cara de la Hoyde, who gave it her all last week on her last hurrah as a single lady.

The former Love Islander returned to where it all began, the beautiful island of Majorca, for a hell-raising weekend alongside her closest friends, where she swigged Champagne poolside and fashioned every bridal prop going, including a seriously bling, jewel-encrusted captain’s hat.

What a trouper.

Cara and her loyal band of gal pals kicked things off in matching Minnie Mouse ears, as they fled to Spain.

They then wasted no time in sampling all the local culture of notorious party town Magaluf (or Shag-aluf to its regulars).

There, they danced, sang and popped bottles of Champers in the sun, before continuing the celebrations as they headed to Pirates Reloaded, Majorca’s most glitzy, adults-only revue.

Throughout the revelries, Cara ensured all attention was on her and her impending nuptials, as she modelled everything from a bride-emblazoned swimsuit to a frilly white tutu.

Once an out-and-proud party girl, in recent years, Cara’s swapped the wild nights out for cosy nights in Kent with fiancé Nathan Massey (who she won Love Island with in 2016), and their son Freddie, one.

But the 28 year old proved she hasn’t lost her touch, as she shared snippets of her wild bachelorette do with fans. And really, it’s no surprise that the reality star looks right at home in Majorca – after all, it’s not only where she met her future hubs, but where Nathan proposed last July.

The couple are set to get married this summer, and are sharing their wedding preparations on the current series of TOWIE, having made a return after a six-month hiatus.

The bride-to-be has previously revealed she was nervous about her hen, considering she’d been left completely in the dark by her friends who were organising it. She did, however, make something perfectly clear to them.

"I did ask one thing – just please, don’t make me look ridiculous," she said. "I want to look glamorous."

Well, mission accomplished. Nothing screams glamour like three tons of diamonds glued to a bride-labelled Smiffy’s cap.
