She’s appeared on Love Island twice, but it’s fair to say that Liberty Poole didn’t have the best luck when it comes to finding love in the villa. However, things are looking up as Liberty has just gone public with a mystery man – and fans are convinced they know who it is.
Liberty sent her TikTok followers wild yesterday when she took to the app to share a video of herself cosying up to her new fella while on holiday in Dubai, which she captioned, “Finally getting that summer of love ❤️.”
While she didn’t reveal the identity of the man in question, we did get a few glimpses of what he looks like including long hair, a beard and hand tattoos. Hmm, is it just us or does that sound kind of familiar?
Actually, it turns out it’s not just us as Liberty’s video left some of her followers thinking that she’s dating former TOWIE star Pete Wicks, who is famous for his, well, long hair, beard and hand tattoos.
“Omg it’s Pete Wicks,” one fan wrote in the comments section, while another added, “Defo Pete Wicks, look at the finger tattoos. Go Lib 🥰.”
A third commented, “That is Pete Wicks for sure 😍.”
But as much as we’d love another Love Island x TOWIE crossover romance, it appears that Liberty’s boyfriend is sadly NOT Pirate Pete.
In detective work that Wagatha Christie herself would be impressed with, eagle-eyed fans pointed out that Pete’s hand tattoos are different to the ones that Liberty’s man has inked on his mitts.
“Pete Wicks has tattoos at the end of his fingers as well as his knuckles, it’s not him. I’ve done a hard stalk,” remarked one.
After some more sleuthing, it appears that Liberty is actually dating Joshua Raybould – a music producer, model and barber from Birmingham. Blimey, talk about a man who can do it all.
Joshua is yet to post any sign of our Lib on his Instagram account, but they do follow each other and they’re both from Birmingham, which is all the evidence we need tbh.
Liberty’s latest romance comes after her All Stars appearance, which saw her reunited with Love Island 2021 ex Jake Cornish.
