Love Island’s Konnor Ewudzi reveals family connection to Lolly Hart that producers kept quiet

It's a small world inside that villa

Love Island has featured multiple Islanders over the years that somehow know each other before entering the villa. Love Island 2024’s Joey Essex alone seems to know every second bombshell that walks through those doors; first his ex-girlfriend Grace Jackson sashayed in (and thank goodness she did), followed by Emma Milton in Casa Amor and finally (or so we hope, it’s getting crowded in there) by Lola Deluca.

Despite only being alive for 33 years Joey has somehow managed to meet every woman alive between the ages of 18 to 30. How those producers track them down, we’re unsure, but it makes for great TV so we aren’t complaining.

However, Joey obviously isn’t the only Islander in that villa with ties to fellow Islanders. Ronnie Vint was besties with Love Island 2017 Islander Olivia Attwood, and it turns out that Konnor Ewudzi had his own secret connection on this series of Love Island. Konnor and his partner Lolly Hart were sent packing after Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies chose them over Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spencer, and Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins.

Speaking of Lolly, Konnor said, “We have a lot in common. When she mentioned she worked for an airline we realised my godmother and cousin both worked for the same airline and it transpired that she knew both of them which was a lovely coincidence. Lolly also has an 1111 necklace which is my date of birth so there is definitely common ground between us.”

To be fair, even the birthday connection was enough to have us swooning a bit on their first date, but a family connection too? If that isn’t a romance written in the stars, we don’t know what is. Maybe he can tag along to her next family reunion for their first official date after leaving the villa.
