Ten years in – and with fresh spin-offs popping up all the time – Islanders are bloomin' EVERYWHERE. We can't go to the opening of an envelope these days without half a dozen Love Island stars rocking up to soak up the free drink. You would though, wouldn't you?
As such, it's getting harder and harder for Islanders to stand out from the crowd in 2025. They can't all follow in the footsteps of Olivia Attwood, Indiyah Polack and Molly Mae-Hague, can they?
In order to do so, they have to have that special Love Island X factor if they're going to make a career as a serious staple of the show. We don't know what that something is exactly, but we do know Love Island 2024 star turned All Stars 2025 queen Harriett Blackmore has it. If we were Cheryl, she'd be right up our street and straight in our category.
From her iconic one liners to her selective memory, Harriett is television gold and a truly loyal girly girl and, after meeting her IRL this week we can confirm, what you see is what you get with this one. She is all of us.
Take this little tidbit, for example. In an exclusive interview, fellow girly girl and Love Island queen Catherine Agbaje – and her bae Omar Nyame – painted a picture for us.
While chatting about the food in the villa, the pair revealed that the grub on offer started off very 'clean' and healthy and then Harriett sauntered into the villa on day 11 and demanded chips for virtually every meal and that all changed - and is that not ALL of us?
Catherine revealed, 'The food was nice. Compared to Mallorca, it’s so much better. It was clean food – loads of veg.
She continued, 'The funny thing is in the first two weeks, we had zero chips. I never even saw them. Then Harriett comes in, and she loves chips...'
Omar added, 'Everyday. Breakfast, lunch, dinner – chips. It’s too much.'
Catherine giggled and explained, 'Because Harriett's very picky, we kept having chips.'
A month in South Africa with free chips day in day out? It's a hard job, but someone's got to do it, right?
