Love them or hate them as a couple (actually, why hate? It's just Love Island - chill your beans), no one can disagree that Love Island: All Stars would've been pretty meh without Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran and their rocky love affair (okay, maybe Georgia S, Toby AND Molly Smith and Callum Jones – that debut episode gag was pretty iconique).
What made Georgia S and Toby's Love Island on-screen romance so interesting is that the sparks were already there before the show – they'd 'met' on Love Island: Games and had "unfinished business". Fast forward five weeks (which included Georgia's night in the Hideaway with Callum and Toby's brutal af dumping of Arabella Chi at the fire pit) and these loved-up kids are still together; in fact, they finished All Stars in fourth place.
No matter how you feel about these finalists, the majority are dying to know what they are really like and whether the relationship has legs.
We put both those questions to All Stars Chris Taylor and Joanna Chimonides recently and according to them, what we're seeing is, in fact, erm, reality when it comes to Georgia S and Toby.
Joanna exclusively told Closer, "They are like so in love – well, not in love, but I think they're getting there. At this one point, everyone had this speculation, like, if there was going to be a vote then Toby would be out and Georgia straight away said, 'Jo, if he goes I'm leaving with him and that's it.'"
This revelation led to a major All Stars secret being spilled. According to Chris, Georgia S and Toby almost did leave the show together – and for whatever reason, we never saw this on-screen (hard eye roll).
Chris added, "They tried to leave together."
To which a surprised Joanna added, "Did they? Well, there you go."
Sadly, that's all we got, but still, we love the tea.
But why exactly are we hearing this juicy goss from dumped All Stars and not witnessing it with our own eyes on the telly? What else are they keeping from us?
Spoiler alert: a lot.
Bring back the golden days of reality telly where we could watch Big Brother housemates sleeping in the middle of the night to birdsong on E4 – not in a creepy way.
