It's a far cry from soaking up the sun in the Love Island villa

It's been a while since we checked in on Love Island legend Georgia Harrison, which is wild considering she was all we could talk about back in January and February.

The Love Island 2017 star dominated headlines when she joined the cast of the very first Love Island: All Stars earlier this year and that continued as her 'relationship' with fellow All Star Anton Danyluk faced public scrutiny for being a showmance.

The couple dated publicly for a few weeks following All Stars, but after rumours of a secret separation started doing the rounds, an underlying row reared its ugly head.

Eventually, that all fizzled out, they split officially, and everyone forgot about it. Since then, Georgia has been focusing on living her best single life, spending the last few months either on holiday or at some swanky event – fair.

That was the last we heard of Georgia for a good few months, until recently when she took to her Instagram grid announce her "toughest" career move to date – and it's, quite literally, the polar opposite of Love Island.

Posting a rather gorgeous snap of herself sporting some serious winter gear against a mountainous backdrop, Georgia surprised both her fans and her Love Island co-stars by announcing that she is taking part in the next series of Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which this season will see the celebs take part in SAS winter warfare training in New Zealand.

Georgia captioned her post, 'Celebrity SAS winter warfare training in New Zealand 🥊 As someone who hates being cold 🥶😂.

'Anyway… I’m really proud to announce I was part of one of the toughest shows on tv. Thank you @target_fitness and @no1fitnessretreats for helping to get me ready. I remember watching this show and thinking wow I don’t think I’d ever be brave enough to compete in that. So just signing up for me was a huge leap ❤️ Make sure to tune in to @channel4 and I love you all.'

Naturally, the comments have been popping off on Georgia's post since she made the announcement, but one that caught our eye was written by Directing Staff on SAS Chris Oliver, who wrote, 'Let’s see if you got what it takes when the temperature drops below zero 😮', to which Georgia responded, '@chris_sas_ds let’s see 🧘‍♀️.'

Oh, G...

Georgia will be joined by the likes of Bianca Gascoigne, Pete Wicks, Ovie Soko, Bobby Norris, Marnie Simpson and John Barrowman in New Zealand, and we're suddenly thinking we should be watching this show...

Series six of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins will air on Channel 4 at at 9pm every Sunday and Monday from 22 September.
