In many ways, 2018 was a simpler time. The Spice Girls (minus Victoria Beckham) announced their reunion tour, everyone’s favourite Suits actress AKA Meghan Markle married into royalty, and Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer won Love Island 2018, making us all believe in love again — until they split up six months later.
Love Island 2018 gave us one of the strongest casts in the show’s history; it introduced us to Megan Barton-Hanson, Eyal Booker, and Samira Mighty — who has gone on to become a full blown star and making pop hits, one of which even featured in Love Island 2022.
You might remember that Samira left Love Island on day 40 to follow Frankie Foster, who had been dumped from the villa three days earlier. Although Frankie had only been in the villa for about 11 days, he made quite an impression on Samira but they split up after rumours swirled that Frankie had cheated on her.

Now, fast-forward to 2025 and Frankie's life is miles from his Love Island days. Closer sat down with the series four Islander to see what he’s been up to after all this time, and the answer may surprise you.
‘I mean, it's 95 per cent of horse racing for me now, which is amazing,’ Frankie exclusively told Closer.
He continued, ‘The channel that's probably picked up the most speed over the last year or so is Race Day TV, which is a channel just showing people have fun at the races. I work with Chester Races and Ascot Races, but the international stuff is what I've really enjoyed the last few years.’

That’s right, Frankie’s horse racing presenting is taking him worldwide.
He went on to say, 'I'll go to Hong Kong and Bahrain and hopefully back to America and over to Dubai. The goal for this year is to go on a world tour via horse racing.
'I might even try and turn that into some sort of series on social media or start doing slightly longer form stuff on YouTube. I've been watching lots of Anthony Bourdain, so I’d like to be the horse racing equivalent— travelling the world via horses, but obviously not just talking about horse.'
