Following that awkward AF exchange with fellow Casa bombshell / former bestie, Coco Lodge, Summer Botwe has added fuel to the already roaring rumour fire after cosying up to a TOWIE star at Pretty Little Thing's WE ARE FSTVL.
If you're not sure what that is, don't worry, we had to Google it two or three times to make sure it wasn't a joke; just imagine a Love Island-themed festival where everyone's wearing Pretty Little Thing and stocking up on a winter's worth of content for Instagram and TikTok. Well, that.
It's the kind of event where every reality star under the sun is invited for a free weekend of festival frivolity, so naturally, this year's Love Island bombshells were top of the guest list. Summer and Coco were in attendance, in addition to the likes of Billy Brown, Danica Taylor, Lacey Edwards, Jazmin Nichol, Josh Samuel Le Grove, Nathalia Campos...you get the idea.
The Instagram content was endless, but one post that caught our attention was of Summer cosying up with TOWIE hunk and model Roman Hackett. Summer tagged Roman in the cutesy video and captioned it with a heart hands emoji; more than enough to send the rumour mill into overdrive. The post was even shared by Roman.
Stories about a Summer and Coco bust upstarted doing this rounds on social media shortly after the Love Island Reunion was filmed last Thursday. And the tension between the two was clear, even in the - apparently highly edited - version that was shown on TV, as the pair continued and CONTINUED to passively aggressively bicker over their relationship with bombshell Josh.
Prior to the reunion show being filmed, in an appearance on the Saving Grace podcast, Coco revealed all about her time with Josh in the secret third villa where the Islanders stay when they’re dumped. When host Grace Keeling asked, “Did you shag him?”, Coco replied, “No and I’m actually annoyed because I feel like I could have now.
“Talking to him now after, I’m like, I feel like it could have happened."
This fresh layer of TOWIE-shaped gossip is interesting, though. Maybe Summer is leaving Coco to actually get that shag from Josh she boasted she could have done, while she moves on to hunkier pastures new.
And with TOWIE set to return to our screens soon, we're keeping our fingers crossed that some sort of romance is on the cards with Summer and Roman, as quite frankly, we're not ready for summer to be over.
Last week, heat reported that Casa Amor bomshells Coco and Summer had unfollowed each on Instagram, which, in 2022, is almost certainly confirmation that these bombshells exploded. Then, according to one Twitter user, the audience at the reunion witnessed a "very heated exchange" between the bombshells; so heated, in fact, that "production had to step in" (although this was apparently left on the editing room floor).
Viewers will know that Josh was cruelly dumped from the villa alongside Coco just as he began getting to know Summer and the pair had hinted they would continue their blossoming romance outside the villa, however Coco recently suggested that she was interested in him, too.
