Simon Cowell has had his say in Amanda Holden and Phillip Schofield's AWKWARD row...
It's the feud that everyone is talking about, and now even BGT boss Simon Cowell has waded in to have his say.
Simon told The Sun on Sunday that he phoned pal and co-star Amanda Holden, 48, last week to give her his blessing as her row with rival Phillip Schofield continues to loom over the celeb world.
He said, "I respect her for standing up for herself.
“Am I on her side? She’s back on the show. I can’t make it clearer than that."
And sources even revealed to The Sun that Simon has demonstrated his support financially too. Simon reportedly handed Amanda a pay rise amid her tense argument with the Schofe.
They do say actions do speak louder than words...
And Simon isn't the first celeb to have their say.
Billie Faiers voiced her opinion on Philip Schofield after she did not take kindly to the silver fox asking her about the cost of her wedding on live TV.
The former TOWIE star – who recently married the father of her two kids, Greg Shepherd, in a lavish Maldives wedding – appeared on This Morning alongside her sister Sam in March and was left stunned by Phil’s line of questioning.
“This is the Kuramathi Resort in the Maldives,” said Phil. “So we had a look, if you were to stay there next Saturday it would be £650 a night, that would be £4,588 for a week for the superior beach villa.
“The whole week for 100 guests, £229,000. So you must have got a deal there. £229,000 for your wedding?”
Billie and Greg aired their thoughts on the awkward moment in an interview with OK! magazine.
“I was in shock,” said Billie. “Prior to our appearance, I’d been very clear that I don’t talk about money. It’s rude and it’s nobody’s business but ours.
“They were trying to insinuate that we got the wedding for free, which is so far from the truth. We saved for our wedding for years.”
And Greg added, “We should ask Phillip Schofield how much he earns!” - we would love to know this, too.

What's going on between Amanda Holden and Philip Schofield?
Gone on holiday and missed the feud of the century?
Do not fret, we'll fill you in in the low-down.
In November 2018, it was claimed Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda had been promised to fill in as Holly Willoughby's cover for This Monring while Holly worked on I’m A Celeb - especially as she had covered Holly’s maternity.
But Rochelle Humes got the gig presenting alongside Philip Schofield instead– reportedly at Phil’s insistence.
Needless to say, things were awkward, but six months later Amanda reignited the argument on her radio show, saying that the three things she wouldn’t want in her house were “flies, spiders and Philip Schofield”.
And in July it was reported that she had complained to a top ITV boss about the presenter.
In an unprecedented move, Phil then gave his side of the story. He tweeted, “When you try for 35 years to be the easiest, most fun person to work with and you read such hurtful and wildly untrue stories… Obviously I’ll take it on the chin. I just hope you know me better."
Phil then stepped their feud up a gear, as insiders say he issued a lifetime sofa ban for the BGT judge.
“Phillip is absolutely furious that all this nastiness is being talked about, and he’s blaming Amanda for everything,” an insider tells heat.
“If their relationship was frosty before, it’s absolutely Baltic now. He’s told the This Morning producers that Amanda’s banned from appearing ever again. It’s created a real headache, as she’s part of the ITV family."
Will they'll ever put it behind them? Who knows. Although weirder things have happened - ahem, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift making friends.
