Billie Faiers did not take kindly to Phillip Schofield asking her about the cost of her wedding on live TV
The former TOWIE star – who recently married the father of her two kids, Greg Shepherd, in a lavish Maldives wedding – appeared on This Morningalongside her sister Sam in March and was left stunned by Phil’s line of questioning.
“This is the Kuramathi Resort in the Maldives,” said Phil. “So we had a look, if you were to stay there next Saturday it would be £650 a night, that would be £4,588 for a week for the superior beach villa.
“The whole week for 100 guests, £229,000. So you must have got a deal there. £229,000 for your wedding?”
And now Billie and Greg have aired their thoughts on the awkward moment in an interview with OK! magazine.
“I was in shock,” said Billie. “Prior to our appearance, I’d been very clear that I don’t talk about money. It’s rude and it’s nobody’s business but ours.”

And Greg added, “We should ask Phillip Schofield how much he earns!” (which we think is a fair point).
It’s not the first celeb that Phil has irked in recent months, with his old feud with Amanda Holden - which begun after Phil apparently blocked the Britain's Got Talent judge from a slot on This Morning - getting dragged back up.
“Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle Humes to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced — and having been told privately she’d got the gig,” a source told The Sun.
"She feels Phil unfairly used his powers of persuasion. She was told he’d chosen Rochelle because she was easier to ‘manage’ on air - and understandably that incensed her."
