Peter Andre, 41, explained that - before telling his and Katie Price's children Junior, 9, and daughter, Princess, 7, that he was in a relationship with Emily - the couple decided to sleep in separate bedrooms for a year.

Speaking with a UK magazine, he explained: "I didn't want the kids to get confused because they knew her as a friend.

"I sat them down and said, 'Right, kids, we need to have a talk. Me and Emily love each other. We've known each other for three years, I love her and I'll marry her one day.'"

"Bista (Princess) rolled her eyes and Junior said, 'Dad, we're not stupid.' But we still don't kiss in front of them now."

Pete and Emily, who met four years ago, already have one child together - nine-month-old Amelia - and revealed they are planning to get married next summer.

Speaking in an interview, Emily also added that they are keen to have more children just as soon as they're married.

She said: "Pete wants a boy and I'd like another girl, but I want to enjoy Millie first."

"She's incredible. Every minute I have with her I love and I want to give her all my attention."
