This year's Irish exports were interviewed together on RTE The Late Late show
Maura Higgins has had to deny claims she’d been flirting with newly single Greg O’Shea after their run in this weekend.
The Love Islanders, both native to actual Ireland, were both guests on RTE’s The Late Late Show, after Amber Gill dropped out following her split from Greg.
Greg addressed reports that he'd dumped the Newcastle native by text.
With fourth-place finalist Maura taking the seat beside him instead, reports that the pair continued their evening at nearby whiskey bar No 37 Dawson street have been “raising eyebrows”.
"No one was impressed after seeing Greg and Maura on Friday,” a source told The Sun. “Amber and Greg had only broken up a few hours ago, so everyone thought it was pretty distasteful and cruel of them - they were all over each other.
“Curtis [Pritchard, Maura’s boyfriend] came to support them on The Late Late Show and made a brief appearance but had to leave shortly after so he didn't see any of it.”

But speaking to TV Choice magazine at their prestigious awards ceremony last night, Maura said “It was nice to see Greg, I hadn’t seen him in so long.
“Obviously the circumstances weren’t the best, him and Amber after parting which isn’t the nicest thing to hear. I was a bit shocked about it all. It’s not nice to hear of a couple parting, but Amber is such a strong woman, and she’s independent and she’ll be fine.”
