India Reynolds has revealed exactly what she meant when she insisted there were ‘easier ways to make £50k’ than going on Love Island

The former glamour model soared through to third place in the Love Island 2019 final alongside fan favourite Ovie Soko, after entering the villa just 12 days before, and we've all been DYING to know what she meant by her comments in the villa.

Reassuring Ovie after learning during a challenge that the public had accused her of going after Ovie for his money, India left fans confused when she said there were easier ways of raising the cash – but she’s now said that her comments were “taken out of context”.

“I work really, really hard at home to have my career the way it is now,” she said in a chat with Closer online, discussing her work as a model from before the show.

“Going on Love Island was a risk, I didn’t know if clients would want me back afterward – it is difficult. I had a reasonably easy journey in there, but people underestimate how hard it can be.”

With her modelling past, India has had plenty of her old work dragged into the limelight since she’s been in the villa – but insists that a return to glamour isn’t on the cards.

Professional basketball player Ovie earned himself legions of dedicated fans from his time on Love Island thanks to his laid-back nature and graceful way he handled getting pied by Anna Vakili when she went back to Jordan Hames (as well as the fact that he’s a SEX GOD, obv).

True to form, he was unphased by the barrage of attention India faced when she came in as a final bombshell – even when Jordan made his shock admission.

“When you’re really interested in a woman you hope to see all the positives in someone, and I almost expect [the attention]," he said.

“India’s a very beautiful lady, a very nice lady, and I know I’m not the only one who sees it.”

Swoon.
