The former Geordie Shore star admits she's ruined her looks after destroying her natural lip line with filler
She’s no stranger to plastic surgery and has changed dramatically since she started out on Geordie Shore five years ago thanks to multiple enhancements - including boob lifts, nose jobs, liposuction, Botox and lip and facial fillers.
Earlier this year, Marnie Simpson even showcased her rounder bottom after undergoing bum filler injections.
But the 26-year old now admits to Closer that after two British women died undergoing Brazilian Butt Lift surgery – where fat is taken from a body part and injected into the bottom - she’s now terrified of going under the knife again.
She says: “It really affected me hearing about the things that have happened to young girls, so I’m scared to ever do it again myself. Surgery is just too risky.”
Like many of the Geordie Shore alumni, Marnie – who announced she’d quit the show in March - has pumped her lips with filler over the years – with fans often flooding her Instagram comments to beg her to stop.
And the star says after being told by doctors that she’d ruined her natural lips, she’s been put off the cosmetic procedure for good.

Marnie says: “I regret my lips. If I could go back in time I just wouldn’t have touched them. I haven’t had lip fillers in a long time, I got them all removed. A doctor told me I’ve destroyed my natural lip line from all the constant fillers – so I’ll never be completely happy with my lips. Obviously, I’ve learned a big lesson and it’s been tough.”
The ex-Miss Newcastle finalist joined Geordie Shore when she was just 20 in 2013 and by 2014 she had already undergone a nose job and boob uplift, both of which had to be corrected with further procedures.
WATCH Has Chloe Ferry's surgery gone too far?
Marnie – who was stopped at passport control in July as her surgically altered appearance didn’t match her photo – has spoken about her struggle with body dysmorphia and tells Closer she believes she started having surgery when she was too young.
She explains: “I had body dysmorphia and anxiety and I genuinely think a lot of it stemmed from being on TV continuously for so long. I think having a little bit of a break and a step back has massively helped my mental health. I started surgery too young. When you’re like 20, you don’t really know who you are and surgery is a risky move. You change your mind every week at that age.”
Marnie appeared at the PRO BEAUTY trade show in support of 3D lipo.
