She was on Geordie Shore for five years
Marnie Simpson has been reflecting on her hedonistic past as she prepares to welcome her first child with boyfriend Casey Johnson – after fearing her partying had left her infertile.
“I look back and think I had such a blast, it was wild and I’m pleased I did it,” she told Closer online. “We did so much, got to travel the world and we did laugh. It was hilarious.
“I can still drink like I used to. Obviously, I haven’t drank since December, so it’s going to be quite mad when I have a drink.
“Hopefully that might put back my tolerance because my tolerance was so high, I could drink, drink, drink , and not get drunk after all the partying I’ve done. Maybe this pregnancy has set us back to reset.”

The former Geordie Shore also opened up about the early years of trolling on social media, pointing out that the girls in the group would get more abuse than the boys did.
“As girls we’d get the same comments all the time – you’re either fat or you’re a slag,” she said.

“How many times can you be told that? After so many years it just becomes irrelevant. It doesn’t bother you anymore, because once something’s said so much it just has no meaning anymore.
“I feel like trolling became such a big thing later on, it wasn’t as bad then. Geordie Shore was one of the first reality shows so you didn’t really think about [what people thought of you]. It was all real, because you didn’t know about reality stars and it wasn’t a thing.
“It’s always online abuse, it’s always keyboard warriors. I guarantee there’s been trolls that when I’ve met them in person have asked for a picture or something.
“They’re so confident behind a keyboard."
